Student lounges & learning spaces
There are student lounges and informal learning spaces at all of our campuses.
You can meet up with friends, work on group assignments, chill out between classes or heat up your lunch.
The lounges have WiFi access, moveable and fixed furniture, power points and some kitchenette facilities.
Free drinking water is available across all Victoria University (VU) campuses. You can find new drinking fountains, as well as free water in the student lounge kitchens.
City Campus
Our City Campus features two buildings: the VU City Tower, and the City Queen building (295 Queen St).
VU City Tower
Informal learning spaces have been provided throughout the Library and learning and teaching levels to provide space for students to collaborate, network and study.
A variety of different informal learning spaces include individual focused study, small semi-quiet collaboration spaces for groups of 6-8 persons, active collaboration spaces for groups larger than 8 and informal active collaboration spaces furnished with lounge chairs and banquettes.
Facilities available in the VU City Tower Student Lounge, which occupies the whole of the 10th floor, are:

- power outlets.
Note that Level 10 also has a parents room in room T1006.

Footscray Nicholson
You have access to two student lounges at Footscray Nicholson Campus.

Footscray Park
You have access to three student lounges at Footscray Park Campus. There are also lots of great indoor and outdoor study spaces around campus.

You have access to six student lounges at St Albans campus.

Research study rooms
There are two research study rooms for VU research students in the St Albans library.
Locations: Building 7, Level 2, Rooms 7201e and 7201f
The research study rooms feature private study workspace with power outlets for BYOD.
