Moondani Balluk means 'embrace people' in the language of the Wurundjeri people who first lived in the western region of Melbourne.

Moondani Balluk – Indigenous Academic Unit works across Aboriginal, non-governmental organisations and community spaces to deliver teaching, research and support.

Victoria University First Nations Fund

Established in 2022, this fund gives Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students the opportunity to study at VU at a variety of levels. Grants are available to assist both secondary school and current VU students with study costs.
