How to use MyTimetable
- Access your dashboard
Log in to MyVU and click 'MyTimetable'. Your dashboard will show with a Select button next to any classes that need allocating. - View timetable
From the left menu, select 'Timetable'. Use 'Summary view' at the top to switch between semester, weekly or daily views. - Allocate classes (not for TAFE students)
In summary view, click classes marked with a warning icon. Choose or change a time for the class by selecting a blank timeslot. If the class is full, click the heart icon to join the waitlist. - Sync with phone / check alerts
In the menu, select 'Settings' to sync MyTimetable with your phone. Select 'Alerts' to view class changes.

MyTimetable modes
Throughout the year, VU's MyTimetable will open in various modes for higher education (HE) students:
- Allocation open (9am): Open to view your timetable and change allocations.
- Read-only mode (3pm): Open to view your timetable, but you can't change allocations.
