Achieving successful graduate outcomes: Models to enhance postgraduate student learning
Victoria University has developed an international reputation for enhancing the student transition experience through innovative methods of curriculum design and student engagement in learning.
In this project, this expertise is extended to co-design with learners to deliver a range of artefacts at the micro, unit and course levels in three key focus areas of higher education: postgraduate degrees, online degrees and research degrees.
This project explores how the innovative block mode, VU Online and remote learning, is best utilised to enhance greater access to authentic student learning experiences and optimise opportunities for successful graduate outcomes.
Looking across postgraduate, online and research degrees, this research will:
- explore the experiences of educators and learners as they design and engage in the curriculum
- explore the experiences of educators and learners as they transition from and to different modes of delivery
- identify best practice in the curriculum design process that optimise opportunities for successful graduate outcomes.
