About

Ande is a teacher with the First Year College. She is an experienced clinician with three decades of direct-practice experience, a program leader and project manager in the public health service system. Ande continues to work part-time in the private health sector, delivering therapeutic and support services to clients and their families facing life-threatening illnesses.  

Ande has been a part-time teacher of social work spanning three decades, across a range of universities. She first started teaching at Victoria University in 2014 and has been an integral part of the School of Social Work teaching team since. Ande is committed to the development of the future workforce and to always maintain a view of improved client outcomes.

Ande has extensive leadership experience in applying best practice guidelines in clinical and service delivery settings. Having demonstrated her leadership in managing critical incident and trauma-informed practice in Sydney which she led from the Royal Prince Alfred, Ande has continued to apply her skill to working with medical and other health leaders in areas such as mental health, cancer care, aged care, trauma-informed practice and Advance Care planning.
