Central University of Finance & Economics, China
Victoria University has been working with the prestigious Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE) in China to deliver Victoria University business degrees in international trade and financial risk management since 2004.
CUFE is recognised as one of China’s leading institutions through their inclusion as a Project 211 institution. CUFE also is a Chinese Ministry of EducationDouble First Class Discipline University, with Double First Class status in certain disciplines.
Courses
Students initially complete a two-year CUFE degree which incorporates English study (delivered by VU). They then choose to complete the final two years of the international trade/banking and finance degree in Beijing, or complete the degree with VU in Melbourne.

- Bachelor of Business (International Trade / Financial Risk Management).
CUFE credit transfers
Since 2004, the Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE) and Victoria University have had an articulation agreement. Student study for two years in a CUFE degree, with the remaining two years of study able to be completed in Melbourne.
In Melbourne, students are able to select any of the 11 Bachelor of Business majors; alternatively, students can remain in China to complete the International Trade and Financial Risk Management majors.
Pathway opportunities
Victoria University students who study at CUFE spend the first two years at CUFE.
After that, they have the opportunity to transfer from CUFE to Melbourne and complete a bachelor degree in any one of 11 business majors offered as part of our Bachelor of Business.
Research with CUFE
The Centre for Research on Business and Economics (CRBE) was established in 2017 to consolidate the relationship between the Central University of Finance and Economics (China) and Victoria University and to provide directions for future research collaboration.
