This unit includes the identification of the major structures of the skeletal, muscular, articular, nervous, cardiovascular and respiratory systems, and the examination of their respective functions; developing the student's ability to link function to structure. In addition, kinesiological concepts that assist in the determination of joint actions of muscles are covered. The unit will be studied with a regional anatomy orientation.
