Overview

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to work collaboratively with individuals to assess, promote and review all aspects of wellbeing. This unit applies to work with people living with mental illness in a range of community services work contexts.

Assessment

For Melbourne campuses

Assessment tasks will be designed to reinforce and extend knowledge and skill competence within set and controlled parameters in accordance with each unit’s learning performance evidence requirements, including demonstration in simulated environment within periodic and scheduled timelines.

Students will be expected to demonstrate the following required skills:

  • collaboratively delivered wellbeing support reflecting recovery oriented practice with at least 3 people:
  • physical
  • social
  • emotional
  • cultural/spiritual

Required reading

The qualified trainer and assessor will provide teaching and learning materials as required in the VU Learning Management System (LMS) called VU Collaborate.
