Overview

This unit examines the analytical frameworks and techniques required to assess project feasibility and financial viability. Students will evaluate project investment strategies, analyse market conditions, and assess financial decision-making methodologies. The unit provides critical insight into investment analysis tools, valuation techniques, and approaches for managing uncertainty in project contexts. Through practical application of financial analysis methods, students will develop expertise in evaluating project feasibility, conducting investment appraisals, and formulating evidence-based investment decisions.

Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:

  1. Analyse project feasibility studies to assess project opportunities;
  2. Assess and critique the role of project managers and developers in various project management scenarios;
  3. Evaluate project potential based on investment analysis to assess financial viability of the project; and
