This unit is the continuation from Thermodynamics 1 and is specifically for Mechanical Engineering students. The Thermodynamics 2 will focus on the applications of the principles learnt from Thermodynamics 1. This includes learning to analyse the refrigeration, air-conditioning systems, various engines, power plants and simple combustion process. It is expected that the students can analyse real engineering problems involving thermal energy after studying this subject.
