Overview

In this unit students report on the research project designed and conducted in Inquiry Project 1. The report will detail the research project, through the following main sections; abstracts, introduction, a literature review, methodology, findings and discussion, leadership engagement and conclusion. Students will use skills of: analysis, communication, reporting, reflecting, synthesis and creation.

Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:

  1. Investigate a significant problem/issue/insight in the context of early childhood education;
  2. Articulate deep understanding of issues relevant in Early Childhood Education when analysing data and discussing key findings;
  3. Critically reflect on findings to offer recommendations for practice or future research based on findings; and
  4. Contextualise concepts of leadership within the Framework of Early Childhood Education;
