The aim of this unit is to provide students with the requisite knowledge to plan methodologically and ethically sound research, including producing viable research proposals relevant to the field of clinical or community psychology. The unit will assist students to develop research interviewing knowledge and familiarise students with methods of research interview coding, analysis and interpretation. Students will be given the opportunity to develop their capacity for researcher reflexivity and to further understand the interface between research and practice (including intervention) in the field of clinical or community psychology.
