Overview

The minor in Building Compliance delves into effective building surveying strategies throughout the construction process. This specialised area emphasises the building surveying process, including interpreting building and construction legislation, codes, and standards for residential and commercial structures. It also covers performance-based solutions and integrating environmentally sustainable practices in building services. Furthermore, the minor focuses on fostering energy-efficient buildings and developing sustainable urban environments, preparing students to contribute to the cities of tomorrow.

Unit set structure

For a minor study, students must complete forty-eight (48) credit points of study, comprising:

  • Four (4) Specialist Area units.
