Law library classes will help you develop research skills to find case law, legislation, and secondary sources for law and criminology, and learn how to reference using AGLC4.

Finding Secondary Sources for Law

Learn how to analyse a question, use a legal dictionary and build a search statement to locate legal journal articles. The class includes an overview of how to reference journal articles using AGLC.

AGLC4 Referencing

As a new student, learn how to use AGLC 4 for referencing, or as a continuing student, improve your AGLC4 skills in this interactive class.

Finding Case Law

Learn how to use a case citator to locate case law and information about case law.

Library Inquiry – Law

Learn how to locate discussion of a legal principle in a textbook, case law that is referred to in the textbook and cite those cases correctly. You will also be introduced to the concept of academic integrity including referencing, and creating your own resource of tips and useful online guides.
